The Crossbar Kicking Academy was found to give young rugby players the ability to improve on their kicking game. The winning of rugby games often depends on the ability of the kicker. We want to prove that every young kicker has the ability to kick at a high level.
Coach Naas has been part of rugby for over 14 years now. He played for the Bulls u/19 team in 2014, while spending 2015 & 2016 in the Currie Cup with the Limpopo Blue Bulls. Naas has been a kicker since 2009 & holds the record for the furthest kick in the history of the Beeld Trophy - with a kick of 65m clearing the in goal area. He is also Boksmart certified, while being an IRB Level 1 Coach.
Our Group Kick Training Program is established for the goal to learn from each other.
Learning from each other is an important factor in the growth process in kicking. Our Group
training will consist in groups of 4 - 7 players which will allow us to give attention to each player
and teach them the skills they need to kick at a high level, whether it is in primary or high school.
Our 1-on-1 Kicking Program are for the kickers who wants to improve their kicking abilities
at a rapid pace. With our 1-on-1 coaching the kicker will improve his 'own' style of kicking
and learn how to use certain techniques on match days.
Kicking is one of the most important factors in a rugby match. Standing on the sideline watching your son kick a perfect game while being the reason for the win, will not only make your son happy, but will make you a proud parent.
